Tucked away through the arch from the courtyard is Ntheka’s Arts & Crafts, a little gem brimming with African treasures.

This is the place to come for genuine souvenirs – the kind you won’t find in airports!

The mahogany spoons with cow bone handles and soap stone bowls and eggs are from owner Solomon’s native Kenya. Beautiful batiks have made their way from Mozambique. And large fruit bowls, sisal baskets and serviette holders are handmade in neighbouring Zimbabwe.

Of course you’ll also find some interesting pieces created by our local talent. These include wire elephants and turtles, animal print place mats and bags, and accessories featuring cow bone, shark teeth and amethyst.
